Description
Here we have some fine Norwegian hardcore punk. I can’t compare the vocal pitch to anything because I don’t think I’ve ever heard this kind of intensity before—harsh and hoarse, and simultaneously sounding young, energetic and totally weathered. It’s like if NO SECURITY were to push it damagingly far like HIATUS. The percussion is a D-beat onslaught with ripping fills, surrounded by anthemic yet chaotic guitar. They use a xylophone on the track “Krigsindustri” that actually sounds really cool. I think I love this. Seven all go, no slow tracks from Oslo. (JR)
