Description
Black Kronstadt were from in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, formed in 1992 and broke up in 1997. They released two eps’s (Crimes of capital, crimes of the state and A world to win) and a fullength (Free spirit). They played raw anarcho-hardcore/crust with typical crust production, gruff vocals and all out political lyrics. In their full lenght they included spoken word on political issues, imagine Conflict taking a walk in the fields of crust world. But in this 7 they blend the anarchist lyrics with a black metal direction with noodley guitars and hoarse screamed shouting, a lot different from their rest stuff but everything is getting clear when you know that Iskra was born from the ashes of Black Kronstadt. Yes, the black metal/crust subgenre of Iskra started in this ep. Three tracks of black metal-ish crust with political lyrics, screamed shouting vocals and a feeling between black metal and Portland crust sound.
