The Domestics have fast been making a name for themselves as one of the top hardcore outfits about at the moment, but here they meander away from their usual output to bring you a 6 track EP of cover versions, a nod to their influences, as well as a bit of fun. Not to be take too seriously according to the notes inside the sleeve! What we have is tracks from Gauze, Out Cold, The Fall, Angry Samoans, Rudimentary Peni and The Five String Dropout Band all being given the Domestics’ treatment. As they say themselves, a band banging out some songs they love in their own way in a couple of takes and giving a nod to their influences. Also I know there might be some of you that don’t know all these bands and maybe this will be a spur to check some of them out. You should; they’re all fucking great. Anyway, enjoy it or don’t. I think it’s pretty cool. You might think we really are just ‘pissing on perfection’…. and fuck, maybe we are.
